Maintenance

For regular cleaning and maintenance, use a soft microfibre cloth with any commercially available non-abrasive bathroom cleaner.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, scrapers, metal brushes, or any cleaning products or tools that may scratch or damage the surface.

25-Year Limited Warranty

Custom Shower Bases warrants its shower bases and custom shower wall products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the original date of purchase.

In the event of a confirmed manufacturing defect that causes a shower base or custom shower wall product to fail, Custom Shower Bases will provide a replacement of the defective product or affected component at no charge to the customer.

Replacement material will be manufactured to the original specifications, where available, and shipped at our expense using the same delivery arrangements as the original purchase, whether to the customer’s address or to a designated freight terminal.

Custom Shower Wall Warranty Replacement

In the event of a confirmed manufacturing defect affecting a custom shower wall system, Custom Shower Bases will provide replacement material at no charge to the customer.

Each warranty claim will be evaluated individually to determine the appropriate replacement. Depending on the nature and extent of the manufacturing defect, Custom Shower Bases may replace individual wall panels or the complete wall system at its discretion.

All approved replacement materials will be shipped at our expense under the same delivery arrangements as the original purchase.

Warranty Coverage and Limitations

This warranty covers replacement material and shipping under the original delivery arrangements.

Where Custom Shower Bases has performed or arranged the installation, the warranty will also cover the labour associated with the removal and reinstallation of products that fail due to a covered manufacturing defect.

How to Request Warranty Service

To request warranty service during regular business hours, email info@customshowerbases.com and include photographs and a description of the issue.

Warranty service is provided when all of the following conditions have been met:

1. The failure is of a nature or type covered by the warranty.
2. The customer has informed Custom Shower Bases of the nature of the problem during the warranty period.
3. Proof of purchase has been provided confirming that the product is within the warranty period.
4. Custom Shower Bases has been given a reasonable opportunity to review photographs and, if necessary, inspect the product to determine the cause of failure.

Upon confirmation of a covered manufacturing defect, Custom Shower Bases will provide the appropriate replacement product or component in accordance with the terms of this warranty.

Any product or component replaced during the warranty period remains covered for the balance of the original twenty-five (25) year warranty period.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, improper cleaning products, or failure to follow provided installation and maintenance instructions.

Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage occurring after delivery, and damage caused by building movement, structural conditions, or circumstances unrelated to manufacturing defects are not covered.

Refund Policy

Because our shower bases and custom shower walls are custom fabricated to each customer’s specifications and cannot be resold, we do not offer refunds for custom-manufactured products, except where required by applicable law.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Custom Shower Bases will provide replacement material in accordance with the terms of this warranty.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
